Out of the mouths of babe's

So last night when I went in to check on Sydney before I went to bed and this is what she said. She was half asleep and I pulled her covers back up (I don't know why I bother, she never keeps them on) and I leaned down to kiss and hug her. She gave me a big kiss and said "momma, you stink. Go take a shower" then she rolled over and went back to sleep. Oh, it was so funny, and the honesty of kids is sometimes brutal! Needless to say I went and brushed my teeth! This morning she got up at the ungodly hour of 6:15 (yes I am spoiled and used to her sleeping until 7:30 or 8) and crawled into bed with me. She snuggled up to me and I told her I love you, Sydney. She said "I know you do momma, I love you too". I guess I am doing something right.

Well I was syncing my iPhone (yes it is a new acquisition that I LOVE) and I found some pictures of Sydney that I took last week that I think are pretty cute. I though I would share.

Easter!

The Easter bunny arrived on schedule at our house on Sunday morning. She left an Easter basket full of goodies that we all enjoyed. Sydney really had fun finding all of the eggs that she hid for her. All the eggs were full of candy that we all ate too much of. Next year I think that the Easter bunny needs to plan a little better and get other things besides candy to put in Sydney's eggs ;)!

Coloring Eggs

We colored Easter eggs yesterday. It was so much fun! It is the first time I was brave enough to try it with Sydney. She loved it!
